Order and delivery terms
1. General terms
VUOMET.FI is an online store maintained by Vuomet Oy (Business ID: 1609520-0), where the products are sold by Vuomet Oy.
A binding sales contract enters into force upon receipt of the Buyer’s order confirmation. Vuomet Oy reserves the right to change the terms of the contract without prior notice. Orders are subject to the terms of the contract in force at the time of order, which the customer accepts when placing the order.
2. Customer relationship and sales area
The seller sells products to companies with a business ID and to private individuals of legal age. Consumer trade complies with the current consumer protection legislation of Finland and the European Union.
Products can only be purchased from the online store in Finland (excluding the Åland Islands).
If you wish to order products outside of Finland, please contact by e-mail.
We need billing information, the company’s VAT number and contact information from foreign customers. In foreign trade, products must be paid in full before collection or delivery.
3. Registration, data protection and cookies
When placing an online order, the buyer provides their contact information, which includes at least the name of the subscriber/company and possible business ID, address, telephone number, email address and possible billing address. The information is stored in Vuomet Oy’s customer register, the information of which is used in accordance with the privacy policy. The online store does not require logging in, so it does not collect order history. Information about previous orders is available through Vuomet Oy’s customer register.
The information in Vuomet Oy’s customer register is used to process and deliver online store orders and to provide information if necessary. The customer can prohibit the use of their information for marketing purposes if they wish. You can check and prohibit the use of your personal information by contacting the seller in writing either by e-mail at or by sending a request to Vuomet Oy, Halisentie 48, 41900 PETÄJÄVESI.
The VUOMET.FI website uses cookies to make the site easier to use and to help develop the site more user-friendly. When visiting the site, the user can choose whether to accept cookies or not.
4. Prices
The prices of products presented in the online store include VAT. Delivery costs are indicated in the shopping cart at starting prices or in the order confirmation.
The seller reserves the right to limit the sale of products in exceptionally large quantities.
The price of products that are separately manufactured, ordered or modified for the buyer will be indicated separately.
5. Payment methods
For the time being, the only payment method used in the online store is Invoice. We reserve the right to change the payment method to advance invoice on a case-by-case basis.
If the delivery method is factory pickup, you can also pay for the order with a bank card at a payment terminal.
6. Delivery methods
Orders are delivered as parcels or by freight. Factory pickup is also possible.
Delivery costs are determined by weight and delivery method and are visible for each order either when placing the order or they are stated in the order confirmation.
As a rule, shipments over 35 kg are sent as freight, in which case the costs are stated on a case-by-case basis.
7. Delivery time
Products in stock are shipped no later than the next business day after the order is placed.
If the product is in stock and any advance payment has been made, pickup is usually possible on the day of the order. We will inform the customer when the order is ready for pickup.
The delivery time for custom-made products and backorders is stated on a case-by-case basis. If any product in the order is not in stock or its delivery is delayed for reasons beyond the seller’s control, the buyer can accept the delayed product’s subsequent delivery or cancel the order. The delivery costs for subsequent deliveries will be charged.
The seller is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure.

8. Right of return and cancellation
Products have a 14-day right of return. The seller must be notified of the return within 14 days of receiving the product. The product must be returned within 7 days of submitting the return notification. The product must be unused and saleable.
Instructions for return will be provided in connection with the return notification.
Simply sending the goods back without a return notification or not picking up the shipment is not sufficient to cancel the order. In these cases, the delivery costs incurred will be charged to the buyer.
We do not accept cash on delivery.
If the seller determines that the product is defective, the buyer will be refunded the product price and original shipping costs. Shipping costs for unjustified returns will be charged in full to the buyer. If the buyer returns an order for multiple products in full, the purchase amount will be refunded including shipping costs. In other cases, the buyer is responsible for the return costs.
Products that are manufactured, ordered or modified separately for the buyer do not have the right to cancel. However, cancellation can be negotiated with the seller. In the event of a possible cancellation, the costs incurred by the order will be charged in full to the buyer.
9. Warranty and liability for defects
The warranty period for products sold in the online store is 12 months. The warranty applies to manufacturing and material defects that occur in the product during the warranty period.
The customer is obliged to check the contents of the shipment within 14 days and to familiarize themselves with any instructions and terms of use before use.
Any manufacturing or material defect must be reported to the seller immediately. The seller reserves the right to verify the defect in the product.
The warranty does not cover indirect costs.
10. Complaints
Complaints are made to the seller. If a dispute regarding the sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiation, the buyer may submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board for resolution or file a lawsuit against the Seller either in the District Court of Central Finland or in the district court of their place of residence in Finland.
